My Story — Why I Became a Personal Trainer

I wasn't always the person standing in front of you today. For most of my life, I was the overweight kid — the one who got picked on, the one who avoided mirrors, the one who sat on the sidelines. Being bullied because of my weight wasn't just painful in the moment. It shaped the way I saw myself for years.
At 25, something shifted. I made a decision — not a New Year's resolution, not a quick fix — a real, committed decision to take control of my health. I didn't have a coach. I didn't have a roadmap. I just started, made mistakes, learned, and kept going.
What that journey taught me
Transforming my body taught me that fitness isn't about punishment. It's not about suffering or restriction or becoming someone else. It's about becoming the best version of yourself — whatever that looks like for you. It might be losing 30kg. It might be deadlifting twice your bodyweight. It might simply be walking up a flight of stairs without getting winded and feeling proud of it.
That experience — the struggle, the breakthrough, and everything in between — is exactly why I became a coach. I wanted to be the person I wish I'd had when I was starting out.
My qualifications
I hold certifications from the Australian Institute of Fitness and RTS Global — two of the most respected institutions in the industry. But beyond the credentials, I bring 15+ years of real-world coaching experience working with clients across all fitness levels, backgrounds, and goals.
How I coach
I use an evidence-based approach — no fads, no gimmicks, no extreme diets. Just smart, progressive training and sustainable nutrition built around your life. I know what it feels like to be on the other side of this journey, and that empathy drives everything I do.
Whether you're training with me in person in Bengaluru or working with me online from anywhere in the world, you'll get the same level of attention, accountability, and genuine investment in your results.
